Can Some Drugs Lead to Hair Loss
In this article we will talk about some drugs that can lead to hair loss. Large number of well-known medicaments in today’s market can cause temporal hair loss. Many doctors are not familiar with side effects of these drugs. If you feel that you are experiencing hair loss due to any external factors, discuss it with your physician. Here are some of them or some of the groups of drugs that can produce hair loss:
Cholesterol-lowering drugs, Parkinson medications, Ulcer drugs, anticoagulants agents for gout, drugs derived from vitamin-A, anticonvulsants for epilepsy, antidepressants, beta blocker drugs for high blood pressure, antithyroid agents, blood thinners, male hormones (anabolic steroids).
You can always substitute one medicament with another with no hair loss side effects. Of course, you should not do any changes without knowledge of your doctor.
Even some well know hair loss products can have side effects. For example, Minoxidil can cause a fall in blood pressure or increase in the heart rate and weight gain. Propecia may cause birth defects in male baby's sex organs if taken by women. Also, potentially irreversible side effects occurring in the group of people taking the drug are erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorder and low libido. For alopecia areata , corticosteroids can be administered either as local injections, given orally or applied topically. Side effects commonly seen are a brief period of pain, more of a tingling sensation and temporary indentations in the skin resulting from the local injections. Sometimes even local corticosteroid use can result in systemic side effects. This is not list of all side effects for most used drugs in the market. For more information you should call your doctor or at least local pharmacy.
A natural approach is consider a more safer way of re-growing lost hair compared to those unnatural ways that may involve harsh chemicals that may have serious side effects. When it comes to natural products against alopecia areata you should be careful. There are hundreds of products out there but just some of them can help you. Natural Treatment for Alopecia Areta
Alopecia has many causes, mostly genetics and environment. It may occur in more than one member of the family, and such families may develop other autoimmune diseases such as pernicious anaemia and vitiligo. Estimates vary between 1 in 1000 to 2 in 100 people being affected at some point in their life. In about 6 in 10 cases the first patch of hair loss develops before the age of 20 years. An estimated 4 million Americans are affected with this condition. Males and females are equally affected. There are other causes of hair loss, some of them rare and difficult to diagnose. One cause of hair loss is hormonal imbalance and it may result in pattern baldness, a major hair disease causing hair loss. Unfortunately, even with a correct diagnosis, there is very little that your dermatologist can offer if the cause is genetic.
Dermatologists consider Alopecia areata a type of skin disease because it occurs on the skin of the hair or the scalp. The primary Alopecia areata sypmtoms are roundish patches of hair loss on the head, with smooth, hairless scalp in the affected areas. Alopecia Totalis involves the complete loss of all scalp hair, and alopecia Universalis is characterized by the complete loss of all scalp and body hair. In some cases the hair follicles in Alopecia areata remain active and alive and are ready to resume normal hair growth at certain points, sometime after many years, without treatment.
There are many options available to treat or manage Alopecia areata today, including completely natural collections like Marbo Hair. Information on Alopecia Areata
Because it causes bald spots on the head, especially in the first stages, it is sometimes called spot baldness. In about 6 in 10 cases the first patch of hair loss develops before the age of 20 years. Alopecia areata is an unpredictable disease. In some people, hair grows back but falls out again later. In others, hair grows back and remains. Each case is unique. It can happen to people of all ages who are usually healthy and have no skin disease. This condition is not contagious.
The cause of alopecia areata may be hereditary. It is more likely to occur in people whose kin are suffering from autoimmune diseases. Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder in which the body attacks its hair follicles and damages or stops reproduction of hair. The stronger the follicle the longer the hair will grow. Weak hair roots render the hair not only unable to grow longer; they are not able to hold on to the hair, Therefore they get detached. We all lose hair naturally every day. As long as new hair is produced at the same rate as those falling out, there will be no difference in the density of the hair.
Early for alopecia areata symptoms can be: • Small, soft, and usually like we said before round bald patches • Some burning sensation or slight pain in the area where hair have been lost • Hair fall over a short period of time and the affected area is mostly one area of the scalp • Hair becomes narrower along the length of the strand closer to the base.
This condition can be treated, particularly if it is addressed during the early stages. for alopecia areata treatment can fall into broad categories: • Immune suppression like steroid creams or injections • Irritants like diphenylcyclopropenone • Holistic approaches • Natural products like plant extracts and supplementation.
Around half of the patients suffering from for alopecia areata can get their hair back in one year without the need to go through any treatment. However, if the period of hair shedding is quite long, the chances of re-growth of hair decrease considerably. In this situation, you need a good treatment to get your hair back. You can select from a range of available treatments, including steroid injections, shampoos, lotions and activators. Consult your doctor in order to determine the best treatment option for you.
Commercially manufactured shampoos, conditioners, hair dyes and other hair care products that contain chemicals which can damage hair should be avoided. Always purchase gentle, organic, natural hair care products, like Marbo Hair. Always use dermatology approved products.
They are natural products manufactured according to a traditional recipe, which includes high concentration of herbal extracts. Marbo products are the first of their kind and are, in principle, different from all other products on the market. There is so much information about it in the internet. Hair loss also known as alopecia in medical science assumes different forms. Alopecia Areta is condition is characterized by the occurrence of hair loss in patches that produces a totally bare area encircled by normal hair growth. A number of scientific researches point to the basic cause of this type of alopecia as being both genetic and immunological. There is no cure for autoimmune disorders at this time, only ways to suppress them. That is why hair regrowth in this condition can seem like a constant battle.
There are various types of alopecia areata. But we can divide them into the following groups:
" Alopecia areata monolocularis - It causes baldness in only one spot in any part of the head. Alopecia areata monolocularis is in reference to the initial stage of the disease, with the different alopecia types varying upon their severity. The initial stage will affect the growth of hair on the person's head.
" Alopecia areata multilocularis - It results into multiple area of hair loss. The patient presents with multiple bald spots on the scalp since the onset of the complaint.
" Alopecia areata totalis - In this case the alopecia areata causes the loss of all the hair on the scalp. Alopecia Totalis refers to total hair loss all around the scalp. Again the surface looks as though it's been clean shaven although hair follicles are intact but inactive.
" Alopecia areata universalis - Its symptom is the loss of all body hair including public hair. The condition is called Alopecia areata barbae if it is limited only to the beard. Alopecia areata universalis is the rarest form and presents itself as the loss of hair over the entire scalp and body.
" Diffuse alopecia areata - It happens when a psychological trauma causes a person to lose all his dark hairs. And leave him only with mixed grey and dark hairs. The causes of diffuse alopecia may be of physical and psychological character. Diffuse alopecia areata results in decreasing hair density.
There are several different treatments to aid hair regrowth in hair loss. It is important that the person fully understands his or her particular hair-loss condition, especially when considering going through certain medical treatment processes or using prescription drugs.
Dugi periodi upotrebe aktivatora nisu rezultirali neželjenim efektima.

Everyone who is affected by this type of hair loss knows that it is autoimmune disorder. The body attacks the new cells forming in the hair follicles by mistake.
It may occur in the early childhood, in adolescents and its hits man and women equally. Temporary or patchy hair loss was also observed to be signs of Alopecia areata . Take note that alopecia does not affect scalp hair only. It is observed to be present in body hair as well.

Alopecia Areata Explained
The medical term for hair loss is alopecia. Alopecia may be localized or diffuse. Patients may notice hair shedding, poor hair quality, hair thinning or bald areas. There may be associated scalp disease or scarring. Dermatologists comment that scalp hair loss seems to provoke more distress than many severe skin conditions. Unfortunately, hair loss may not be easy to remedy. Some people need professional counseling to come to terms with the disorder, regain self-confidence and live full, productive lives.
The term alopecia means hair loss. In the form of alopecia known as alopecia areata, round bald patches appear suddenly, most often affecting the scalp. Alopecia can occur at any age, including in childhood.
What are alopecia areata causes ? It is considered to be one of the autoimmune disorders - lymphocytes around the hair follicles release chemical messengers (called cytokines) that reject the hair for unknown reasons.
Alopecia may occur in more than one member of the family, and such families may develop other autoimmune diseases such as pernicious anemia. It is also more common in patients with chromosomal disorders such as Down syndrome. Like many other health problems, it sometimes starts after a stressful event. This condition itself may be emotionally very distressing.
What does it look like? Alopecia is often discovered by a hairdresser, as there are usually no symptoms. The hair stops growing and then falls out from the roots. alopecia areata has three stages. First there is sudden loss of hair, then enlargement of the patches of hair loss. There may be a few broken or tapered hairs within the bald patches. Lastly new hair grows back, often initially colored white or grey. It may take months and sometimes years to regrow all the hair. One patch can be falling out while another is re growing. Any hair-bearing area can be affected, including eyebrows, eyelashes, and beard and body areas.
Some people with hair loss do not have typical round bald patches.
Alopecia totalis: • Affects up to 5% of affected individuals • All scalp hair is lost
Alopecia universalis: • Affects less than 1% of cases. • All hair on entire body is lost.
Alopecia areata incognita: • Sudden diffuse thinning of scalp hair, • May be confused with telogen effluvium.
Nail disease: • Affects 10-50% of those with alopecia areata, • Many nail changes have been described, • Regular pitting and ridging are the most common findings.
The more severe forms of alopecia areata arise unpredictably. They are more likely if the hair loss starts very young, if the initial hair loss is very severe, and in individuals who also suffer from atopic eczema or asthma.
Alopecia Areata Treatment
There are many treatments for this condition. Some are successful but some of them are just scams. One thing is for sure, there is no cure for alopecia areata. Before choosing right treatment for you consult you dermatologist and do some basic research on the internet. Most successful Hair loss products on natural basic are Marbo Activator. It is 100% natural with no side effects.
Injecting a cortisone medicine into the area of hair loss may speed up the natural regrowth of hair. For extensive hair loss, there is no reliable treatment. Steroid pills, or a special form of ultraviolet light treatment (PUVA), are sometimes worthwhile, but may result in side effects.

Dugi periodi upotrebe aktivatora nisu rezultirali neželjenim efektima. Moze se koristiti i bez recepta.

How to Deal Alopecia Areata
Hair loss can be caused by so many things and it can also be treated; but we are going to consider one aspect of hair loss called alopecia areata . Alopecia hair loss treatment can be of different ways.
The chemical composition of the hair:
• Carbon - 45% • Hydrogen - 7% • Oxygen - 28% • Nitrogen - 15% • Sulfur - 5%
Other elements are iron, copper, zinc, iodine, twenty different kinds of amino acids, proteins, lipids and water. The hair is divided into two parts, the inner part located in the dermis, where there is the formation, growth and nutrition of the wire. Outside (visible) wire located in the epidermis that juts out and giving the face frame.
The subject is very complex and extensive; there are many causes of alopecia. The average initial symptoms of alopecia areata are small bald patches. The skin of the bald patches is free of scars, besides any that were already present due to some other condition, and superficially appears to be normal. The patches can be any shape but are predominantly they are in circles. Different areas can exhibit loss and regrowth simultaneously. The disease may even go into a permanent or temporary period of remission in which there is no further hair loss and areas that experienced hair loss may start experiencing renewed hair growth.
Other symptoms are:
• Areas experiencing hair loss may tingle or even be painful. • Hair is lost (falls out) very quickly and hair loss is asymmetric in that more hair is lost on one side of the scalp than the other. • If you were to attempt to pull out some hair affected by alopecia areata, the hair that is along the edge of bald spots will pull out more easily than hair away from the edge due to the fact that the hair at the edge is already being affected by alopecia areata. This is in contrast to attempting to pull out healthy hair, in which case there should be at most a few hairs pulled out and they should be distributed relatively unevenly across the pulled portion of the scalp.
The first step in determining what treatment option may be best is to determine the cause of alopecia areata . Consulting with your primary care physician, dermatologist, or hair transplant specialist is the first step to treatment. In some cases, an underlying medical condition may be causing the hair loss which when treated will result in the hair growing. If medical treatment is warranted, it can take 6 months or longer to see return of the hair that had been lost.
Diet is a very important factor in good hair and scalp health. In particular what sort of food we are eating to not only keep ourselves alive, but keep ourselves healthy.
Scalp hygiene is very important. Washing the hair once a day is ideal. Nnatural shampoo, like Marbo Shampoo 03, preferably non-hormonal, non-steroidal and completely formulated from natural ingredients, is safe to use by everybody. Daily massaging of the scalp is also recommended.
The extra release of adrenaline and stress chemicals affect the composition of the blood, so can cause hair loss. Being aware of this can itself help combat this problem and enable the sufferer to get help sooner rather than later. You can quickly and easily learn about alopecia areata treatment by going to a website MarboHair.com
